Whiting, dau. of Davis and Abigail (Bowker) Whiting. She was b. in Hing. Jan. 4, 1799, and d. at Boston, 9 Apr, 1885, aet. 86 yrs. He d. at Boston, 3 Nov. 1881, aet. 83d yr. Was for a number of yrs. landlord of the Half- Way House at West Scit., near Hing. boundary line; afts. "grocer" at the Four Corners, and later "weigher and gauger " at Boston. Was representative from Hing. 1833, 1834, 1835, and 1836. Resided while in Hing., on Main St., "
